* HK Sun Tech’s power coupler with four jaws has been designed to fix steel bars even more tightly.

1) Uses a tapered spring to prevent jaws from being separated by a concentrated force. 2) Manufactured to fit the size of the steel bar by minimizing the inner dimension of the jaw toward the center. 3) The jaws (horizontal/vertical spiral cutting), sharply diamond-cut with a machine (horizontal/vertical spiral cutting), can hold the steel bar tightly like a spiral nail and dig deeper when they are pulled out. Therefore, it is suitable for high-cycle fatigue testing and good for railways, bridges and other infrastructure.

Method of Construction

Method of Construction

1. Insert the one-touch coupler while maintaining straightness at the entry.
(Burrs attached to the cut surface upon rebar production will be connected with a chamfer remover or grinding.)
2. If there is a click sound, it has been connected properly. 3. Visually inspect or shake by hand to check whether the rebar has been inserted in a straight line.

Precautions

- After construction, completely remove any foreign substances inside before pouring concrete. - When storing the coupler, keep it after sealing to prevent foreign substances such as oil from coming into contact with it. - When using a coupler, the cover thickness decreases, so it is necessary to check the cover thickness and joint position.
